KMTC aims to enhance institutional research capacity through the following strategies:
- Build capacity of staff to carry out research.
- To support dissemination of research findings to stakeholders
- To mobilize resources for research
- To coordinate research activities in all campuses as outlined in the research policy
- To monitor and evaluate the framework for research activities.
- To monitor the implementation of the college STI strategy
