Director urges principals to improve performance to meet vision 2030 targets

KMTC Director Dr. Olang'o Onudi has asked principals and heads of departments to improve service delivery so as to accelerate achievement of Vision 2030 targets.

He reminded the managers that they are critical to the continued improved performance of the country in health training. "This College can't perform without you," he said.
He reminded the Principals that they have an obligation to the public. "You must wake up to the realisation that this institution is for the public."

Changes introduced to the college as a result of management's implementation of the KMTC statutes, he said, are for the benefit of the institution. "Changes taking place in the institution as we implement the KMTC statutes are not targeting anybody. There are no grudges."

The Director was addressing the managers during selection of new students who are set to join the institution in September 2011.

He congratulated the principals for meeting their targets in this year's performance contract.
On expansion of College programmes, he said the college must create more opportunities for Kenyans to train in Health.
The Director was addressing principals and heads of departments in the quarterly Academic Board meeting.
