KMTC has put in place more stringent measures to guard the integrity of examination.
In the measures released by the College academic wing, armed police escort the examinations from the examination office to a police station near each KMTC Campus where the examination invigilators, who are picked randomly from any campus, pick them for administration at respective campuses. Each paper is opened in the examination room in the presence of students.
After the examination is done, the paper is sealed in the exam room as students witness. It is then taken to Nairobi's Kilimani Police Station's armory for storage from where it is picked to the marking venues.
To minimise threats of leakages, three quality papers for every exam are set. Any can be picked for administration.
More than 1150 students from 22 Campuses across the country did nursing final qualifying examination between June 6 and 10 under this new arrangement, according to the College's Examination officer Mr Jeremia Sakuda.
