KMTC jointly trains Board and Management in Corporate Governance
KMTC will hold a three-day training in corporate governance for its board members and management.
The aim of the training, the first of its kind involving the board and management, is to enhance the relationship between the two organs of management.
The training, which will be held at KCB Karen, Nairobi, between May 14 and 16, will be facilitated by State Corporations Advisory Committee.
It will cover Institutional and Governance Framework in State Corporations, Corporate Governance, Leadership, Thinking Strategically and Relationship between Management and Board.
Other topics include Ethics, Institutional Framework, Role of the Board, KMTC Strategic Plan and Strategic Leadership for Performance Improvement.
The training will be attended by the two deputy directors, managers in finance, human resource, administration and procurement. The legal, external liason and communication officers will also attend. Others will be Chief Internal Auditor and Chief Human Resource Management Officer.
