Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is set to hold an international scientific conference from June 28th - 30th , 2010 at the College, Nairobi.
Themed The Role of Medical Training and Research in Combating Emerging Health Challenges in Africa, the annual conference targets stakeholders in the health sector including health workers, lecturers, students and administrators.
Those who wish to make presentations at the conference are asked to send a brief abstract to
conference@kmtc.ac.ke by Friday April 30th, 2010.
Sub-themes for the conference are Innovations/ Technology and Advances in Health Training; Health Care Financing; Human Resources in Health; and Partnership and Collaboration in Healthcare Training and Provision. Other sub themes are Trends and Interventions Towards Provision of Quality Healthcare; Public Healthcare Challenges, Opportunities and Initiatives; Health Systems Research; and Medical Education.
Abstract for research papers should include a title, author(s), objectives, design, setting, subject, main outcome measures, results and conclusions. Abstract papers on programmatic issues should contain a title, authors, objectives, design, setting, results, lessons learnt and conclusions.
