KMTC is set to hold its second Scientific Conference between May 9 and 11, 2012 at the College Headquarters, Nairobi.

The theme of the Conference is "Medical Training and Innovations towards Realization of Vision 2030."

Sub themes are Medical Education; Innovations and Technological Advances in Healthcare; and Interventions for Provision of Quality Health care. Other sub-themes are Quality Assurance in Medical Training and Health care provision and New Frontiers in Public Health.

You are welcome to the Conference if you are a health worker, lecturer or even an administrator from a medical training institution. The Conference also targets stakeholders in the health sector and students in medical training institutions.

Grab the opportunity to make a presentation during the Conference by submitting your abstract, which should not be more than 200 words, to conference@kmtc.ac.ke, or conferencekmtc@gmail.com by February 29, 2012.

There are two formats of submitting the abstracts. For research papers, the abstract should include title, author, objectives, design and setting. The subjects, main outcome, measures, results and conclusions should also be included. For programmatic papers, the abstract should contain title, author, objectives, design, setting, results, lessons learnt and conclusions.
