Aim and Purpose
Aim
Our aim is to develop a beneficial, cohesive and energetic organization working towards advancing the Kenya Medical Training College and serves its alumni.

Purpose
The main purpose of the association is to promote, influence and support the educational, cultural and social life of Kenya Medical Training College, its constituent colleges, and to provide a means by which alumni may both serve the institution, its students and to help guide Kenya Medical Training College in future.



Mission statement
To actively support KMTC and its alumni through meaningful and appropriate service.



Strategic Vision
A thriving Alumni Relations capable of supporting strong partnerships resulting in increased service to Alumni Association members.



What's New / Events
November 2008 - Official launching of the KMTC alumni association.
21st - 23rd October 2008 - CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Seminar.

Students
Over 10,000 students taking courses in various health disciplines within the 27 colleges.

700 academic staff and 840 non-academic/administrative, supportive and subordinate staff giving a total of 1,540 staff.

Research
Research is a crucial component of training and it is given emphasis in the KMTC Act.

Alumni
KMTC established an Alumni Association open to current and past staff and students.
