KMTC trains over 90% of Health workers in Kenya and is also open to international student. The College admits international students especially from East and Central Africa.
Together with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), for instance, we have launched a Sh11 million training programme for Sudanese health workers. The three-year programme will see the college play a leading role in accelerating provision of health service provision in the formerly war ravaged Sudan.
KMTC and JICA have for a long time enjoyed a close partnership and are using this programme to support the transfer of health knowledge and skills to the Sudan.
Currently we have students from Somalia; Sudan, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia and many have made enquiries for future enrollment.
The Qualifications to the courses are the same for all courses. However the international students are required to seek translation of their qualification from the Kenya National Examination Council to facilitate acceptance to the desired course on the Minimum Entry Requirements before presenting their applications.
