Medical Engineering students troubleshooting a medical equipment
 
Introduction
Medical Engineering is a profession that deals with installation, service and repair of medical equipment and systems in hospitals and medical institutions hence producing health oriented medical engineering personnel competent to work with health care technology units.

The course incorporates three main fields

1. Mechanical Engineering Technology

2. Electrical Engineering

3. Electronics

Diploma course

Minimum requirements

Mean grade of (C-plain). Mandatory subjects are Mathematic, English, and Kiswahili, Physics / Physical sciences.

Other subjects; Chemistry or Biology or Metal Work, or Electricity or Technical Drawing (C-minus)
