Medical Engineering is a profession that deals with installation, service and repair of medical equipment and systems in hospitals and medical institutions hence producing health oriented medical engineering personnel competent to work with health care technology units.
The course incorporates three main fields
1. Mechanical Engineering Technology
2. Electrical Engineering
3. Electronics
Certificate Courses
Minimum requirements
Mean grade of (C-minus) and the mandatory subjects are; Mathematic, English, and Kiswahili, Physics / Physical sciences.
The Optional subjects are; Chemistry or Biology or Metal Work, or Electricity or Technical Drawing (D+ plus)
